Most skincare lines make a lot of promises. Clinical+ is one of the few that earns them. It’s a medical-grade skincare brand formulated with professional-strength actives — the kind you won’t find on a drugstore shelf, because the concentrations and stability requirements demand clinical oversight. At Desert Bloom, we carry the Clinical+ line because Dr. Borakowski evaluates every product we stock against the same standard: does the science hold up, and will it genuinely serve our patients’ skin?

Clinical+ products are available in our Scottsdale clinic. We don’t sell online — and that’s intentional. The right product depends on your skin, your goals, and often your current treatment plan. That conversation is worth having in person.

What “Clinical-Grade” Actually Means

Here’s the honest answer to a question we hear often: the difference between a clinical-grade formulation and a standard over-the-counter product is not marketing language. It’s active ingredient concentration, delivery system stability, and the absence of fillers that dilute efficacy. A $15 vitamin C serum and a professional-strength vitamin C serum can contain the same ingredient — what differs is whether that ingredient is formulated to survive shelf time, penetrate the skin barrier, and reach the depth where it can actually do something.

Clinical+ products are built around this standard. Every formula is designed to address underlying skin function — not to temporarily improve how skin looks under a photo filter. The Clinical+ ACE Technology

Gentle Cream Cleanser

A low-pH cream cleanser formulated with calming aloe vera, cucumber extract, and hyaluronic acid. It removes makeup and impurities without stripping the skin’s natural moisture barrier — an important distinction for anyone using active serums or who has recently had a laser treatment. Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive.

Serums

Retinol Firming Serum

A vitamin A serum designed to accelerate cellular turnover and stimulate collagen production. Retinol remains one of the most evidence-backed topical actives for reducing visible fine lines and improving skin texture over time. Clinical+ formulates this at a concentration that delivers results while minimizing the irritation associated with lower-quality retinol products.

Vitamin C Brightening Serum

A stabilized vitamin C formulation that works against free radical damage and supports collagen synthesis. The antioxidant pairing in this formula improves both absorption and stability compared to pure ascorbic acid products. Works especially well as a daytime serum layered under SPF. Multi Lipid Moisturizer

We’re not here to sell you a 10-step routine. Most of our patients leave with two or three products that work together for their skin. Knowledge first, then the product.
